Because of our direct partnership with producers in Vietnam, Bangladesh and India, you have found the right place when it comes to farmed shrimp. The shrimps are imported under our own brand, Lumar. We offer two varieties: net weight 750 g and net weight 800 g. We also offer Sea Tiger shrimp and Argentine red shrimp, which are caught in the wild. The Black Tiger shrimp (Penaeus Monodon), commonly known as the giant tiger shrimp or Asian tiger shrimp, is one of the most in-demand types of shrimp around the world. The Black Tiger is characterised by the black stripes on its shell and its beautiful grey-blue colour. We import our Black Tiger shrimp from Vietnam, Bangladesh and India.
The Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus Vannamei), also known as whiteleg shrimp, has become the most commercially produced shrimp in recent years. Intensive production takes place. We import our Vannamei shrimp from Vietnam and India.
In each category of Vannamei shrimp, we also offer one ASC-certified variety.
Our Argentine red shrimp (Pleoticus Muelleri) is caught in the South Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Argentina. They are of the brand Conarpesa. Due to their sweet-and-salty flavour, these shrimps are known as one of the world’s best shrimps. Once peeled, they have beautiful white flesh and a red texture.
