For Luiten Food – Thomas Foods Europe, quality, food safety, transparency and sustainability are paramount. The industry as a whole is setting increasingly high standards for products and their (food) safety. We are constantly aware of the questions customers ask us regarding food safety, production methods, animal welfare and a product’s impact on the environment.
We are constantly scrutinising the entire process, from purchase to delivery to the consumer, and feel responsible for delivering a food-safe product. We have therefore chosen to be certified according to the criteria laid down in various IFS (International Featured Standards) standards.
We regularly visit our suppliers to physically check the processes. By keeping stock management and logistics in-house, our quality department can closely monitor the flow of all products. Integrated logistics chains ensure that all products are fully traceable.
