Luiten Food – Thomas Foods Europe is a warm family company from Stompwijk, backed by a loyal, experienced and above all committed team of people. Until a few years ago, we would have called ourselves importers of meat, game and poultry. However, that has not covered it for some time now; not only have we expanded our product range considerably, but our imported products are now just one of the fine range of services we offer our customers. As we develop, portion, marinate, package, label and deliver products completely to specifications, we have become an essential partner for our supermarket and wholesale customers. Everything is done based on the specific wishes of the customer, in cooperation with our partners. Our product selection is determined by a clearly defined market demand: the proteins we import are either not yet available in Europe, insufficiently available or available in lower quality.
Importing quality products remains of primary importance to us. After all, without products, we cannot make a difference for our customers. That is why in 2018 we decided to strengthen our cooperation with Australian beef and lamb producer Thomas Foods International, and TFI invested in Luiten Food – Thomas Foods Europe. Thomas Foods Europe has now enjoyed product security and exclusivity for these two product groups for over five years.
Our goal is to be a player at the highest level. We aim for long-term partnerships with customers and suppliers: in the long run, quality and reliability will always prevail. Those who already know us, know that we do as we promise. A deal is a deal. We grow our business because the alternative is simply not an option. Only by continuously improving can we offer our customers the service they have come to expect from us. We will never shy away from investing in the company, the machinery, our people and, of course, our long-cherished network, as these form the basis for our added value.
