The National Week Without Meat – you can also turn to us for vegetarian/vegan products!

This coming 4 March marks the start of the National Week Without Meat, a campaign that has been set up to make consumers more conscious about the consumption of meat. At Luiten Food, we strive to make life as easy as possible for our clients and are constantly busy with innovating. The growth in the number of vegetarians is a remarkable trend that has accelerated worldwide in recent years. More and more people are adopting a vegetarian lifestyle for a variety of reasons. In an effort to offer our clients an alternative, since 2021 you can also turn to us for vegetarian and vegan alternatives. This means we can offer a product for every type of eater.

With over 85 years of experience in the meat industry, we know better than anyone how to choose the right kind of quality. We now put this knowledge and experience to use to create a versatile plant-based range. In close cooperation with our suppliers, we strive to develop the finest flavours imaginable.

The vegetarian/vegan range comprises a wide selection of meat and fish substitutes, all made from plant-based products. Which is why we also offer vegetarian/vegan burgers, mince and meatballs from the Future Farm brand, a plant-based foodtech & lifestyle brand that aims to change the way the world eats. With its clean label approach, Future Farm is committed to using natural and recognisable ingredients. As a result, its products contain between 6 and 16 ingredients, 50% fewer than other A brands.

We also offer a wide range of other alternatives in addition to products from Future Farm. As a guarantee of the quality of all our products, we have V-Label certification.

Would you also like to take part in the Week Without Meat and are wondering how you can offer your own customers an alternative? Contact our sales team and ask about all the options of our vegetarian/vegan range.

Together, we will let your customers experience how delicious and versatile vegetarian/vegan alternatives can be!
