Orbillion Bio – Cultured meat
We hope to further shape the cooperation with Orbillion in 2023 and get ready for the Novel Food procedure in Europe. Together, we want to start working towards a footprint within Europe that we can build on after market acceptance. Furthermore, we expect clarity soon on the possibility of carrying out tastings within the Netherlands. This would mean that a selection of consumers will already be able to get to know cultured meat next year.
South American beef
Fresh and frozen
South American beef has become an important part of our range. Over the past year, we have strengthened cooperation with renowned partners in South America and entered into new interesting collaborations. Our new grain-fed Angus beef from Brazil of the Bassi brand therefore fits perfectly into our range.
Luiten Food UK
Luiten Food UK is committed to continuing to offer the UK market a price-competitive and diverse product range. Moreover, we see our extensive range of high-quality lamb and beef products from Thomas Foods playing a bigger role in 2023, as we anticipate the signing of the UK-Australia Free Trade Agreement early in the new year. With this, we hope to make great strides in 2023!
This year, we expanded our portfolio to include our vega(n) range. In this area, too, we lead the market in innovation and quality. Thanks to our many years of production experience, we are able to offer not only standard high-quality products, but also tailor-made vega(n) products. Suitable for bulk, food service and retail. Ask us about the possibilities and we will keep you informed about our vega(n) range in the coming year!
Last year we had a great year in which we added a new brand, Lumar Orient, to our range. Under this brand, we carry our Orient products. Besides the Oriental products, we also ordered our first lobster containers! Another great year awaits us this coming year, in which we aim to enrich our knowledge and strengthen our position. In addition, our focus is on our business relations and we want to pay a lot of attention to this. We do this by visiting trade fairs, suppliers and customers. For 2023, we are looking forward to intensive collaborations with great results!
CSR performance ladder
A new challenge awaits us with regard to the CSR performance ladder. Our ambition is to grow to level 4 with additional chain responsibility. With this, we hope to create a broader social basis for activities by building a good relationship between our stakeholders.
